Ones of kind and unique OMax-II knives, used for leisure, fishing, and hunting, are made using steel K340 from the well-known metallurgical conglomerate Böhler-Uddeholm. The knife handle is natural, ergonomic, and comfortable, made from natural stabilized wood. Cold work tool steel К340 is known for its high wear resistance and excellent anti-corrosive properties. The chemical properties of K340 steel and its unique production process (electro-slag refining method) enhance the steel's strength and fine-grained structure compared to its counterparts. K340 steel products are easy to sharpen, making these knives easy to work with. The hardness of K340 steel is achieved from 61 to 64HRC; however, to avoid brittleness in the steel blades, the steel hardness of our products is approximately 61HRC.
